The Pugnator is a Ferrri Purosangue ready to battle… well… just battle. There isn't really a segment for the Pugnator. The Ferrari Purosangue, as it rolls off the production line, fights the Lamborghini Urus and the Aston Martin DBX707. But there isn't anything like the Pugnator out there.
Mansory prepared a special paint finish, the Vermillion Red, for the not-an-SUV four-door Ferrari. The tuning house came up with a strangely looking hood made entirely from forged carbon.
The Mansory-tuned Purosangue rides on 22-inch wheels mounted on the front axle, while those at the rear measure 23 inches. A ducktail spoiler and a prominent wing, an aggressively designed air diffuser, and fender plans are also on the menu.
However, this list doesn't tell half the story. Mansory could not stay away from the engine compartment, so they retuned the 6.5-liter V12 to pump out 744 horsepower (750 metric horsepower) and 538 pound-feet (730 Newton meters) of torque instead of the stock 715 horsepower (725 metric horsepower) and 528 pound-feet (716 Newton meters).
However, the Ferrari fan base wasn't impressed, and Mansory had to deal with a gazillion comments that slammed their creation. The tuning house is planning to build a total of seven such examples. There is no information on pricing just yet. "Make this 1/1. We don't need six more," someone recommends in the comments section on Instagram.
"How have you guys not received the cease & desist from Ferrari yet? Of all the aftermarket work done to the prancing horse, this is by far the worst," another user says.
"I think we should all agree that this is not the Pugnator but the Repugnator," someone else suggests.
"That right there is the very definition of visual overload, y'all did indeed manage to make this abomination of a car even uglier. I gotta say the color combo is pretty cool though," an Instagram user admits.
However, it is not all backlash on social media for the Mansory-modded Ferrari. Some congratulate the tuner for nailing it this time and say that the brand can never do anything wrong. At the end of the day, it is all a matter of taste.
Mansory completed the fix on Marcus Rashford's Rolls-Royce Wraith, crashed last fall
For a toned-down Mansory approach, you can check Marcus Rashford's Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge. Involved in a crash a year ago, the car was auctioned off by the insurance company.
Mat Armstrong placed the winning bid and started on a journey of ups and downs. He struggled to fix it for over six months. He invested a fortune to make it look the closest to what it did when the soccer star paid $750,000 for it in 2023. He even bought a donor car for parts and bought Mansory original components.
However, Mansory still didn’t like it and asked Mat to bring the car to Germany. He road-tripped the car from Spain all the way to the tuner's headquarters. The tuning experts completed the repair and put on Mansory wheels on Armstrong's Rolls-Royce.
