2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS Debuts With Enhanced Power, Yours From $124,900

As anyone could expect from a sporty crossover with a premium flair, it boasts more power than its predecessor. Porsche has also upgraded other aspects and has given it a fresh look, inspired by the rest of the family, albeit with the typical design traits.

Starting in the power department, the 2025 Cayenne GTS develops an extra 40 hp (41 ps/29 kW) and 30 lb-ft (40 Nm) of torque. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 kicks out a healthy 493 hp (500 ps/368 kW) and 487 pound-foot (660 Nm) of torque.

It is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission that delivers everything to both axles via the PTM (Porsche Traction Management) system. This system sports an independent water cooling circuit that enhances durability at high revs. The automaker says the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) acceleration takes 4.4 seconds, and the top speed is 171 mph (275 kph).

The 2025 Cayenne GTS rides 0.4 inches (10 mm) lower than the regular variants and features standard two-chamber air suspension. The front wheels have more negative camber, thus improving the handling. The pivot bearings came from the Turbo GT, the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus is on deck, and the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control active roll stabilization is optional.

Visually, it sports the same enhancements as the rest of the lineup, albeit with the typical tweaks worthy of the GTS logo. Speaking of the latter, the GTS emblem can be seen on various panels. The model has bronze tailpipes, rides on 21-inch alloys with an anthracite look, gets an adaptive rear spoiler, and sports a few high-gloss black elements.

Porsche says its Race-Tex high-quality material can be found throughout the interior. The latest Cayenne GTS has suede-like fabric covers on the headliner, door cards, armrests, and center panels of the seats. The seats feature improved side bolsters, and customers can order the Carmine Red or Slate Gray Neo interior packages.

The model has a standard curved digital instrument cluster, an optional passenger display, Bose audio, ambient lighting, and tinted matrix LED headlights. Other highlights include the fixed panoramic roof on the Coupe, which debuted alongside its more practical SUV sibling, and the Lightweight packages that drop the car's weight by up to 55 pounds (25 kg).

Deliveries on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean will kick off this summer. The 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS will arrive at dealers in the United States this fall, with pricing starting at $124,900 for the SUV and $129,500 for the Coupe, before the $1,995 destination charge, dealer fees, and options.
