A Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6 Drag Racing Is As Insane As It Sounds
Can a Brabus tune job make the G63 AMG 6X6 a quarter-mile killer?

The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6 is not a car you expect to see at the drag strip. The six-wheeled monster SUV is much more at home off-road or on beaches filled with tourists. Still, some 6X6s do end up in quarter-mile races because why not, right? This clip, which according to our digging was shot over summer, features a Brabus-tuned G63 AMG 6X6 taking on a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe. The Brabus logo means the SUV is pushing much more power than in stock form, with 700 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque now pumping out of its twin-turbo V8 engine.

As for that buffalo head on the roof, well we have no explanation for that. Think of the extra weight and added drag!

The race itself isn't all that epic. Watching two massive vehicles plod down a drag strip is as fun as it sounds. The real achievement here is that someone was willing to race their G63 AMG 6X6 at all. Hopefully more owners of this incredible SUV decide to do the same. Maybe someone can race a stock version again this Brabus one for comparison's sake? That would truly be crazy.
